ABOUT
In 1977 Jerry McDonald Sr. resigned from Meridian Avenue Baptist Church in order to start Calvary Baptist Church in Canadian, OK. The Lord blessed the church and in 1984, 102 acres of wooded land 5 miles North of Eufaula was donated to the church. The ministry moved to the new property as soon as a church building was constructed. Since that time many buildings have been built on the property for the cause of reaching others for Jesus Christ.
Pastor McDonald Sr. went home to be with the Lord in 2012. For the next 10 years, Bro. Jerry McDonald Jr. faithfully pastored Calvary Baptist Church until the Lord led him to resign and begin traveling in evangelism while representing Calvary Baptist Ministries. In August of 2021 Calvary Baptist Church called Bro. Cambrin Collins to be their Pastor.

Through the years our ministries have been able to reach thousands of people for the cause of Christ through Calvary Boys Ranch, the City of Refuge, the Cabins of Hope, and Royal C Ranch Youth Camps.

Throughout our history there has always been an emphasis on outreach. Whether it be through the bus ministry, jail ministry, nursing home services, youth bible studies, door to door visitation, or other community outreaches, we are always actively seeking ways to reach the lost and dying world with the Gospel.

MINISTRIES
The ministries of CBC offer a place for everyone in your family to be involved. Through the ministries of this local church, we are able to expand our outreach into the community and fulfill the Great Commission! We have Sunday School classes for every age group, a nursery for your littlest loved ones, youth activities, a thriving music ministry, and much more. We're also the home of Royal C Ranch and host more than a thousand campers each summer.
Two of the most unique ways we minister at Calvary is through our City of Refuge program for struggling men and our Cabins of Hope ministry, which offers struggling couples a place to find biblical counseling and spiritual guidance.
