Bro Jerry McDonald, Jr & Mrs. Jenny

Bro. Jerry McDonald Jr, affectionately known as “Bro. JR,” was called as Pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in 2012 after his father and former pastor Dr. Jerry McDonald Sr. went to be with the Lord.  He was saved on March 10, 1970 at the age of 8 and called to preach when he was 13.  His family moved to Canadian,OK in 1977 when his father started Calvary Baptist Church before moving to Eufaula, OK in the late 1980’s. Before accepting the pastorate he served as the Assistant Pastor for 33 years. He and his wife Jenny have been married since 1981 and have five daughters. All 5 are married and serve faithfully with their husbands in their respective churches and ministries. They have 9 grandson and 3 granddaughters.  In August of 2021, he resigned as pastor of Calvary Baptist Church. Currently, Bro. JR and Mrs. Jenny travel across the country in evangelism representing Calvary Baptist Ministries.
